My new wheels are Breyton Magic Racing 19". They are for BMW, they use adapters to adapt the lug pattern from 5x120 to 5 x 100. www.breyton.com will take you to the site for the wheels. They have a polished Stainless steel lip to them and have Dunlop SP 9000 235/35/19 tires mounted to all four rims. The wheel do have different offset (ET 48) front and back (ET 38).16 September 2001, Adjusted the car's height, did a few changes and snapped a few off.30 September 2001, Changed back to my European Front Rub Strip, added 256mm rear brakes, a European rear bumper, and re painted my calipers all red.8 October 2001, Gary Handa left yesterday and I had a chance to install the new CNC grooved rotors which are very new to the market, Forge Motorsports calls them Turbo grooved. I also had my rear brake Splash Guards installed on 5 OCT 2001, Bamberg VW did the work. Here are a few pictures of the work and finished product.8 January, 2002 - Well I made it to the USA and I am getting settled in Georgia. I added the 25Y GTI Side Skirts and the rear European bumper with rebar. I must say it is one of those finishing touches that I am glad I did. The car really is starting to look like a Super Golf. Enjoy my first of many pictures.12 January, 2002 - Installed the Audi S3 wheels, revisiting the OEM look!18 February, 2002 - 1552 Design's Winter Treffen15 May to 15 November, 2002 - Left for Kuwait, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom18 December, 2002 - After I returned from Kuwait I had to do allot of settling back in at the house and at work. I am just now getting back to business with the Golf. The car was in the garage for the whole 6-month time so nothing happened to the car while I was away. I did replace the battery, as I had to rush off and I forgot to unhook it. Anyways here are my latest pictures.February 2003, Dub Sport GTG, Orlando, FL...."My Home Town"February 26th to May 10th, 2003 - Deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom13 July, 2003 - Went into town (Savannah) for a meeting with the new VW Water-Cooled club (Savannah Waterwagens). Good Turn out and I was very happy to see so many enthusiast in one spot here in SAV.13 July, 2003 - Took some photos before the meeting with Savannah Waterwagen, these are before my 800 plus mile trip up to New Jersey to attend Waterfest2003.
